This very short album was composed for an annual weekend film festival on my campus called "Red Eye." Small teams of student filmmakers are given 48 hours to shoot, edit and compose a short film based on a theme. This year, we were given strict instructions to not use any dialogue. That means no written or spoken language at ALL.
The film that accompanies this soundtrack is called "Iridescence." This film is about three childhood friends who grow up together. Though their friendship is strained, dramatic events help them realize all they really need in life is each other.
It was very hard to convey all of this plot in six minutes without words. I'm glad of the final project, though. My team and I had but 48 short hours to do everything, and it's awesome we pushed through this year to come out with what we have.
